Every great thing started with an idea. Those ideas crystallized in dreams, then they became reality through action.
People say that the world we live in is the reality we experience and the reality is exactly how nature created it. That there are universal laws that keep everything in place. People also say that there is nothing that we can do to change the world, it has always been, it is and it will always be like this. Obeying the universal laws. But is that true? Is there nothing we can do about it?
The world needs more dreams
We all dream, even if we don’t remember them the next day. Dreams are stories and images that our mind creates while we sleep. They can be vivid, they can make us feel happy, sad, or scared. They might be confusing, break the laws of nature or they can be perfectly rational.
Many experts believe that dreams exist to help us solve problems that we have in our lives, or they are used to incorporate memories or process emotions. However, most of the time we can’t remember our dreams the next day. Which is a good thing, because if we would remember all of them, we might not be able to tell the difference between imagination and reality. We might not be able to rely on our memories and our whole world would change every day, with every dream.
Dreams can make, break or bend our reality
Every morning we wake up, we make a conscious choice. We can choose to live in the world as it is or to live in a world of possibilities. To see our lives for what they are, or to see them for what they can be.
Knowing the laws of nature is important, but only dreamers are those that bend them and see the world for what it could be. They are the ones that changed the way we live in. Dreamers saw people flying, riding bicycles, traveling the world, recover from illness and connect.
Dreamers create their reality and also other people’s reality, by bending the rules of nature.
Every day we have this choice. We can see the world for what it is, live as nothing is impossible and everything is simply as is. Or we can have the courage to dream and act upon our dreams.
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” — Harriet Tubman
